Maersk Tankers owns and operates a relatively small crude fleet measured on number of vessels however it is a significant part of our business. We are growing our fleet by 7 vessels the coming years which clearly demonstrates our commitment to the VLCC market.

All our vessels are built and operated in accordance with the highest standards for quality and reliability. Safety has always been high priority. We were the first to include double hulled VLCCs in our fleet back in 1992. Today we only trade double hulled vessels younger than 15 years.
